With a focus on person-centred care, you will support the team to provide best practice quality care to the people we support.

Work within an experienced multidisciplinary team to provide services to ageing clients with complex co-comorbidity and care needs.  This role is well supported by Senior Occupational Therapists and provides the full scope of Occupational Therapy services to over 65’s within the community and residential aged care facilities.

 

$80,670.00 - $101,915.00 per annum plus superannuation plus generous salary packaging available depending on experience 

 

What you’ll be doing

  • Undertaking client assessments prescribing the necessary aids or modifications as required
  • Undertaking home assessment (minor and major modifications)
  • Maintaining accurate client records
  • Planning, coordinating and implementing individual and group treatment programs
  • Providing necessary training to staff of new equipment
  • Liaising with other healthcare professionals, client’s family members and agencies as required 

 

About you:

  • Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent with current registration with AHPRA & the Occupational Therapists Board of Australia
  • Experience working with adult/elderly clients desirable
  • Queensland Provisional or above driver’s license
  • Experience within Aged Care desirable
