Clinical Lead

Mercy Community Aged Care Rockhampton supports and inspires people in need to live healthy lives within inclusive communities. Providing both high & low care, our residential facilities offer a range of services and believe a big part of what we do is to help our residents flourish, knowing what is important to them and their individual needs.  

As the Clinical Lead you will support the care and service team to ensure our residents are receiving excellent care. 

 

$45.75 - $48.30 per hour plus penalties plus superannuation plus generous salary packaging available depending on experience 

 

What you'll be doing

  • Carrying out comprehensive nursing assessments for individuals and groups, and formulate care plans that provide optimal quality of life for the residents
  • Coordinating and monitoring the planning, implementation and evaluation of service outcomes, liaising with the broader team on care needs
  • Providing leadership and support to team members, assisting with orientation of new members, identifying learning needs and providing training and development.
  • Participating in the identification and implementation of continuous improvement initiative

 

About you:

  • Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
  • Experience with Aged Care electronic care systems
  • Sound understanding of the Aged Care Accreditation standards and AN-ACC processes
  • Experience working with older people and their families or representatives
