Mercy Community Aged Care Services is seeking an experienced Facility Manager to lead our Bethany Facility in Rockhampton.

This is a full-time, permanent position and an opportunity for an experienced internal leader to support the delivery of high-quality, person-centred aged care services.

About the role

As Facility Manager, you will:

Lead and support the Aged Care Management team.
Ensure high-quality, person-centred care and service delivery.
Monitor budgets, financial performance and funding requirements.
Manage quality, compliance, risk and accreditation requirements.
Support staff development, engagement and workforce initiatives.
Ensure resources are used effectively to meet service needs.
Build positive relationships with clients, families, staff and the community.
Respond to complaints, incidents and service issues.
Identify and support opportunities for continuous improvement.

About you

To be successful, you will have:

A tertiary qualification in Nursing and/or Health Management.
Experience leading aged care services in a complex environment.
Strong knowledge of Dementia and Palliative Care.
Knowledge of contemporary aged care, including funding requirements, the Aged Care Act 2024 and applicable Aged Care Quality Standards.
Experience managing people, finances, risk, compliance and quality.
Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
A Business qualification and/or membership of a recognised professional association, such as AHPRA, will be highly regarded.
