Mercy Community is seeking 1 x Full-Time Permanent and 1 x Full-Time 12-Month Contract Quality Business Partners to join our Quality and Compliance team!
This role supports the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care across all Mercy Community service streams by assisting with clinical governance, quality improvement, auditing, policy development, clinical data reporting, and regulatory compliance.
This role will include but not limited to:
- Provide expert advice on quality standards and compliance to relevant legislative requirements including but not limited to with the Human Services Quality Framework (HSQF), and National Principles for Child Safe Organisations
- Support accreditation processes and internal/external audits through coordination, gap analysis, documentation, and action planning
- Assist in developing and maintaining policies, procedures, and quality systems aligned to best practice and compliance requirements
- Lead and support the implementation of quality improvement projects and initiatives across Mercy Community
- Partner with service delivery teams to co-design practical solutions that improve outcomes for clients
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
- Qualification in a relevant clinical governance or risk management (desirable)
- Current NDIS Workers Screening Clearance
- Clinical experience in Aged Care service delivery and quality systems (or similar healthcare setting)
- Experience in a similar role within the Aged Care sector or healthcare sector
Working collaboratively with managers and teams across the organisation, you will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support audits and investigations. These roles provide guidance to strengthen governance systems and achieve positive outcomes for residents and clients (including children and young people) As this is an organisation wide role, travel to Mercy Community facilities and service locations is required to support quality, education and governance activities across all service streams. This may be for a number of days at a time.
