IDT Business & Data Analyst

About the role

This position will work within a team that is responsible for leading the design and development of IDT’s enterprise reporting solutions, analytics initiatives and integrations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deliver BI reports, dashboards, and data visualisations to support operational and strategic insights.
  • Support and troubleshoot data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Fabric, under guidance from senior team members.
  • Collaborate closely with the Digital and Data Analytics Lead to maintain and enhance integrations between enterprise systems (including TechOne, eCase, and Mirus) and central analytics platforms.
  • Perform data validation, reconciliation, and testing to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of reports and data extracts.
  • Document technical processes, data transformation logic, and data lineage to support governance, transparency, and reproducibility.

Experience requirements for the role:

  • Diploma, or University Degree in the field of computer science, information systems, or equivalent work experience managing applications and/or systems management.
  • Strong knowledge of system and software development lifecycle best practices and methodologies.
  • Experience in analysis of complex software and process issues
  • Good project management skills and/or substantial exposure to project-based work structures.
  • Knowledge of trends in technology relating to business applications.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed.
  • Ability to present ideas in a business-friendly and user-friendly language.
  • Very strong customer service orientation.

The following experience/ qualifications will be highly regarded in the selection process:

  • Familiarity with aged care or community services sector.
  • Experience with TechOne, eCase, and Mirus systems.
  • Knowledge of data governance and compliance frameworks.
