About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Partner to join our dynamic Talent Acquisition Team. Reporting to the Head of People and Culture, this is a permanent, full-time position based in Nudgee.

This is an exciting and unique opportunity to partner with hiring managers to attract, hire, and support the right people, helping Mercy Community deliver on its strategic goals. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping Mercy Community’s talent brand in the market and be responsible for sourcing, assessing, and selecting exceptional candidates who align with our organisational culture and mission.

You’ll have the opportunity to build meaningful connections within the community, enhance and transform recruitment processes, and make a tangible impact by bringing fresh ideas to the table.

Salary: Commensurate with experience, plus superannuation and generous salary packaging options.

What You’ll Be Doing

In this fast-paced role, you will support our services while collaborating with a high-performing Talent Acquisition Team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand talent needs and develop effective recruitment strategies based on a true business-partnering approach
  • Source, engage, and attract high-quality candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking, and referrals
  • Facilitate the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting and screening to offer negotiation and onboarding
  • Provide data-driven insights and market intelligence to hiring teams to support informed hiring decisions
  • Maintain a high level of data integrity and implement best-practice methodologies across recruitment and pre-employment processes
  • Create and manage talent pipelines through effective talent pooling and external relationships/partnerships
  • Develop strategic community relationships, including education partnerships, employment pathways, and other relevant community networks

About You

We are looking for an experienced recruiter with a can-do attitude and a focus on building strong partnerships with hiring managers to attract and secure top talent. Success in this role requires:

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills
  • Exceptional relationship-building abilities
  • A proactive and innovative mindset, with the ability to identify best-practice and creative attraction strategies
  • Experience in the not-for-profit sector and/or regional recruitment is highly advantageous
