Mercy Community Aged Care Services is seeking a Clinical Lead (Permanent Full-Time) for our 36-bed Residential Aged Care Facility in Townsville.

We support and inspire people to live healthy, meaningful lives within inclusive communities. Our Residential facility isn’t just a place to live—it’s a place where Residents can flourish and feel valued.

As our Clinical Lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our Residents receive the highest standard of care. You’ll lead, support, and mentor our care and service team, driving person-centred care and championing clinical excellence.

What you’ll do:

Provide expert clinical support to the care and service team, ensuring Residents experience outstanding care every day
Coordinate, monitor, and evaluate care planning and service outcomes to maintain exceptional standards
Lead and mentor your team, guiding orientation for new members, identifying learning needs, and supporting professional development
Uphold infection control standards and ensure compliance across the team

About you:

Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
Experienced in clinical leadership within Aged Care
Skilled in developing, implementing, and continuously improving quality systems
Strong knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards and ability to evaluate workplace practices against them
Committed to delivering person-centred care and supporting a positive, collaborative workplace
