Quality Business Partner - Nudgee

Mercy Community Aged Care Services is seeking an experienced Quality Business PartnerFamily and Young People to join our team in Nudgee. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to our Forward with Focus strategic plan, helping shape the delivery of high-quality services that make a meaningful difference in the lives of families, children, and young people.

As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in driving continuous improvement, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting quality service delivery across programs. Acting as a strategic advisor and partner, you will help embed a culture of quality, safeguarding, and accountability across our services.

 This role will include but not limited to:

  • Provide expert advice on quality standards and compliance with the Human Services Quality Framework (HSQF), and National Principles for Child Safe Organisations
  • Support accreditation processes and internal/external audits through coordination, gap analysis, documentation, and action planning
  • Assist in developing and maintaining policies, procedures, and quality systems aligned to best practice and compliance requirements
  • Lead and support the implementation of quality improvement projects and initiatives across family and young people services
  • Partner with service delivery teams to co-design practical solutions that improve outcomes for clients

 About you

As the successful applicant, you will possess:

  • Tertiary qualification in social work, human services, quality management, or related field.
  • Extensive experience in quality, compliance, or practice improvement within the child, youth, and family services sector.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislative frameworks including HSQF, Child Protection Act (QLD), and National Child Safe Standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead or support accreditation and audit processes
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to coach and support staff at all levels
