Mercy Community Aged Care Services is seeking an experienced Quality Business Partner – Family and Young People to join our team in Nudgee. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to our Forward with Focus strategic plan, helping shape the delivery of high-quality services that make a meaningful difference in the lives of families, children, and young people.

As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in driving continuous improvement, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting quality service delivery across programs. Acting as a strategic advisor and partner, you will help embed a culture of quality, safeguarding, and accountability across our services.

This role will include but not limited to:

Provide expert advice on quality standards and compliance with the Human Services Quality Framework (HSQF), and National Principles for Child Safe Organisations
Support accreditation processes and internal/external audits through coordination, gap analysis, documentation, and action planning
Assist in developing and maintaining policies, procedures, and quality systems aligned to best practice and compliance requirements
Lead and support the implementation of quality improvement projects and initiatives across family and young people services
Partner with service delivery teams to co-design practical solutions that improve outcomes for clients

About you

As the successful applicant, you will possess:

Tertiary qualification in social work, human services, quality management, or related field.
Extensive experience in quality, compliance, or practice improvement within the child, youth, and family services sector.
Strong knowledge of relevant legislative frameworks including HSQF, Child Protection Act (QLD), and National Child Safe Standards.
Demonstrated ability to lead or support accreditation and audit processes
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills
Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to coach and support staff at all levels
