About the role

Are you a passionate and dedicated Physiotherapist looking for a role where you can truly make a difference? Mercy Community is seeking an engaging and caring professional to join our Residential Aged Care team in Rockhampton on a Permanent Full-Time basis. We welcome recent graduates as well as experienced Physiotherapists to apply!

The role of the Physiotherapist is to deliver Physiotherapist services under the direct and indirect supervision of the Facility Manager. This role is based within our Residential Aged Care team supporting our residents.

Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications + superannuation, with access to generous salary packaging options.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Undertaking comprehensive assessments, treatments, and care planning for residents

  • Conducting pre-residential assessments as requested

  • Working with residents to develop goals and best practice strategies to promote health and independence

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress

About you:

  • A tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy with current registration

  • Valid First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)

  • A current Queensland Green Provisional Driver’s License or higher

  • AHPRA registration with no conditions or limitations (mandatory)
