About the role
Mercy Community Aged Care Services is seeking 10 passionate and engaging Hotel Services Support Workers to join our team on a Permanent Full Time (38 hours a week) basis, based in Rockhampton commencing from 1 August 2025.
The Hotel Service Support Worker is responsible for the delivery of all aspects of Support Services including across hospitality and support services to ensure high quality resident care and support within Mercy Aged Care Services. Our Aged Care Facilities are run 24 hours every day, to support our residents with their ongoing living needs. We treat each of our residents with Compassion, Dignity, Empathy, Integrity and Respect.
$27.66 - $29.92 per hour (MHACCQ EA) plus superannuation plus salary packaging
Key duties of this role include:
- Assist with the preparation, assembly and delivery of patient meals, morning and afternoon teas and diners
- Ensure resident’s preferences are noted and special dietary needs are provided in accordance with resident care plans
- Maintain food at correct temperatures and record temperatures as required by the Food Safety Program
- Serve and present food in accordance with catering operating procedures, and HACCP standards
