About the role
We are currently seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Partner to join our Talent Acquisition Team. Reporting to the Head of People and Culture, This is a permanent Full-Time position based in Nudgee.
This is an exciting and unique role where you'll partner with hiring managers to attract, hire and support the right people in support of Mercy Community delivering on its strategy. This role plays a crucial part in Mercy Community’s talent branding in the market and is responsible for sourcing, assessing and selecting great people aligned with our organisational culture and mission.
You'll build valuable connections within the community and have the opportunity to enhance and transform the recruitment process. It's a chance to make a real impact and bring fresh ideas to the table.
Salary commensurate with experience plus superannuation plus generous salary packaging available
What you’ll be doing
Within this fast-paced role you will be supporting our services while working with a high performing and collaborative Talent Acquisition Team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partner with hiring managers to understand their talent needs and develop effective recruitment strategies, focused on a true business partnering model.
- Source, engage, and attract high quality candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking, and referrals.
- Facilitate the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting and screening to offer negotiation and onboarding.
- Provide data driven insights and market intelligence to hiring teams, ensuring informed hiring decisions
- Maintain a high level of data integrity and implement best practice methodology in the recruitment and pre-employment process and systems for applicants
- Creating and managing a talent pipeline through effective talent pooling and external relationships / partnerships
- Develop strategic community relationships e.g. education partnerships, employment pathways, other relevant community groups
About You
We are looking for an experienced recruiter with a can-do attitude and a focus on partnering with hiring managers to attract and secure great people. Strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills will be critical to your success, as will relationship building skills. You should be innovative and motivated to identify best practice and out of the box attraction strategies. Experience in the not-for-profit sector and with regional recruitment is highly advantageous.
