Mercy Community Aged Care Townsville supports and inspires people in need to live healthy lives within inclusive communities. Providing both high & low care, our residential facilities offer a range of services and believe a big part of what we do is to help our residents flourish, knowing what is important to them and their individual needs. We are presently looking for the right person to join our team as a Lifestyle Facilitator, supporting the team to deliver a range of meaningful activities to our residents.
As a Lifestyle Facilitator you will be responsible for providing lifestyle services and support to residents, helping them maintain their independence and participate in a full and purposeful life through a range of activities. This role is a full-time position, Monday - Friday 9:00 - 17:00.
$30.00 - $32.38 per hour plus superannuation plus generous salary packaging available!
What you’ll be doing:
- Facilitate and lead activities, engaging directly with residents and encouraging participation from residents, relatives, and staff
- Offer flexible lifestyle programs with various activities, including 1:1, group, and morning/afternoon/evening support
- Collaborate with care staff and family to conduct lifestyle assessments for residents
About You:
- Cert III Individual Support (Ageing) or a Cert IV in Leisure & Lifestyle
- Knowledge of documentation standards for lifestyle activities
- Previous aged care experience
