 Mercy Community is looking for dedicated, compassionate individuals to provide care, support, and assistance to clients across Townsville. We have casual and part-time roles available, with early starts from 7:00am, helping our clients achieve their goals and live life to the fullest.

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Community Care Worker, you’ll work directly with clients in their homes, following individual care plans to provide meaningful support:

  • Assisting with daily living and personal care, including administering medication, domestic assistance, and safe manual handling.
  • Supporting clients with transportation and community access.
  • Observing and reporting on changes in clients’ conditions or behaviour.
  • Ensuring care is delivered according to client preferences and needs.

About You
We’re looking for people who are compassionate, reliable, and ready to make a difference:

  • Completed Certificate III in Individual Support – Ageing (or equivalent), or working towards it.
  • Experience supporting clients with cognitive and/or physical limitations.
  • Own a vehicle and hold a Queensland Provisional Green or higher driver’s licence with comprehensive insurance and service history.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates, or willingness to obtain prior to commencement.
  • Ability to obtain a positive notice through the legislatively required personal history check
