About the role
Mercy Community Services are you the search for an experienced and passionate team member to be the Head of Residential Aged Care. This is a great opportunity for a Permanent Full-Time position based in our Nudgee corporate office.
The Head of Residential Aged Care ensures alignment and synergy across Mercy Community’s Aged Care Services. This role collaborates with other aged care community services to maximise efficiencies and enhance service delivery ensuring sustainable service.
Salary commensurate with experience plus superannuation plus salary packaging available
This role duties includes but not limited to:
- Offer senior-level strategic leadership and oversight for client service delivery.
- Set and hold Residential Facility Managers accountable for key KPIs in alignment with the operational and strategic plan.
- Monitor and review existing processes and systems to ensure synergy across Mercy Community’s Aged Care Services and Aged Care Community Services.
- Develop, implement, and maintain clear and concise procedural documentation to ensure end-to-end business processes.
- Ensure compliance with legislative, organisational, and mandatory reporting requirements across residential aged care.
- Advise on legislative, contractual, and compliance standards.
- Deliver regulatory, quality, and continuous improvement management frameworks and strategies to ensure compliance with relevant licensing/accreditation standards
About you
As the successful applicant, you will possess -
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Aged Care Sector
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Health Administration, Nursing, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- Demonstrated significant experience in a senior management role, encompassing change management, financial responsibility, and comprehensive oversight of services.
- Hold a Queensland Drivers Licence
As our Residential Aged Care Services are located in Brisbane, Rockhampton and Townsvile, please be mindful this role will require travel with overnight/s away from home.
