About the role

Mercy Community Aged Care Services are on the search for a Clinical Lead based in Rockhampton. This is a full-time role. You will support the care and service team to ensure our residents are receiving excellent care. $47.46 - $50.11 per hour (depending on experience) + penalties plus superannuation and options for salary sacrifice

The Clinical Lead position is responsible for providing clinical leadership, advice, coordination, planning, review and assessment of all aspects of clinical delivery at the facility to ensure that the safety and wellbeing of residents and staff is constantly maintained. This role will be with our Aged Care Facilities in Rockhampton (Bethany, McAuley or Leinster Place). 

This role entails but not limited to - 

  • Provide direct resident care and nursing services congruent with recognised nursing practice and procedure
  • In collaboration with the Care Manager, effectively manage team members and volunteers involved in care and service that support consumer daily living requirements
  • Provide support and assistance to maintain high standard of services for residents

About you

  • Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration (mandatory)
  • Experience with Aged Care electronic care systems
  • Sound understanding of the Aged Care Accreditation standards and AN-ACC processes
  • Experience working with older people and their families or representatives
