About the role

Mercy Community Services is seeking a passionate and engaging Exercise Physiologist to join our team a Permanent Full-Time basis based in Rockhampton or Yeppoon.

$42.35 - $49.72 per hour (depending on experience/qualification) + superannuation, with salary sacrifice as an option.  

This role of the Exercise Physiologist (EP) is to deliver services under the direct and indirect supervision of the Allied Health Clinical Lead. This role will be working with our Community Services team supporting client/s and resident based in the Community or their residential facility. This role can be based in Rockhampton or Yeppoon. 

What this role entails but not limited to

  • Undertake comprehensive assessments, treatment, and care plan for clients/residents, within the community or residential facility
  • Develop, implement and evaluate exercise programmes for the client/s and residents
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment and modify care plans where appropriate
  • Undertake pre-residential assessments of client/s and/or residents as requested

About you

As the successful applicant, you will possess:

  • Tertiary qualification in Exercise Physiology with registration
  • Experience in EP treatment of adult/elderly clients
  • Current valid First Aid and CPR certification (or willing to apply)
  • Current Queensland Green Provisional Driver's License or higher
