About the role

Mercy Community Services are on the search for Support Service Worker (Hospitality Assistants or Cleaning Assistants) to join our Residential Aged Care Facility based in Nudgee.

Cleaning role - casual position
Hospitality Assistant role - permanent part-time position. Shift times vary from Monday to Sunday - 0630-1330 or 1430-1830

This position is responsible for the delivery of all aspects of Support Services including across hospitality and support services to ensure high quality resident care and support within Mercy Community Aged Care Services. This role will be based at our Aged Care Facility in Nudgee.

This role entails but not limited to -

Kitchen/Dining:

Assist with the preparation, assembly and delivery of resident melas, morning and afternoon teas and dinners.
Ensure resident's preferences are noted and special dietary needs are provided
Maintain the cleanliness in all kitchen and dining areas

Cleaning/Linen:

Complete and maintain daily cleaning duties such as residents’ rooms and bathrooms, offices and common areas
Collect and deliver residents personal laundry
Conduct full clean of vacated rooms

About you

Previous experience in a similar role
Reliable & able to work across a 7-day roster - Must be available Monday to Friday
