Under the direction of the Clinical Nurse Consultant and/or Registered Nurse team, you will be assisting residents in their daily activities, delivering the best possible care, ensuring wellbeing and comfort. 

 

$28.27 - $31.21 per hour plus superannuation plus generous salary packaging available depending on experience

 

About the role:

  • Maintaining a friendly homelike environment where residents are encouraged to engage in activities of their choice
  • Ensuring the safe and appropriate use of equipment, with an emphasis on resident comfort and safety
  • Assisting with all aspects of personal hygiene – showering, continence, bedding, and clothing
  • Actively monitoring residents’ condition and report any changes in condition or behaviour to the Registered Nurse

 

About you:

  • Certificate III in Individualised Support – Aged Care or equivalent experience and willingness to obtain
  • High level of interpersonal, customer service and conflict resolution skills as well as flexibility
  • Ability to follow written instructions, comprehend care plans, and record accurate progress notes
